It s almost time for Glastonbury 2025Festival season is well and truly upon us, which means it’s very nearly time for the highlight of our summer calendars: Glastonbury 2025.Revellers will once again be descending on Worthy Farm in Somerset between 25 and 29 June, where we can look forward to headline performances on the iconic Pyramid Stage from The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo and Neil Young, along with Sir Rod Stewart in the famous Sunday afternoon “Legends” slot.Other huge performances scheduled across the weekend will come from Charli XCX, Raye, The Prodigy, Doechii, Biffy Clyro and many more. There’s even a mystery performance scheduled on Saturday evening from a so-called act named Patchwork, which some fans reckon they’ve already cracked the code for.In the meantime, though, it’s time to get those highlighters out, and start planning the 2025 schedule. As always, that’s going to mean some tough decisions, as fans navigate those pesky clashes that inevitably show up every year. Here are the ones that we simply cannot make our minds up on…Gracie Abrams and PinkPantheress (Friday)Gracie Abrams and PinkPantheressThey may only overlap by 15 minutes, but we all know how brutal those treks between stages can be (also, some of us don’t want to miss a single minute!). With Gracie Abrams’ new album The Secret Of Us earning her hordes of new UK fans – even selling out the O2 earlier this year – her Glasto debut on the Other Stage, starting at 6.45pm, is bound to be a special one.Meanwhile, PinkPantheress’ new mixtape Fancy That is full of iconic British samples that will most definitely make for some special moments on the Woodsies stage, starting 45 minutes into Gracies’ set at 7:30pm. Adding yet more anguish to the decision is the fact that Biffy Clyro’s Pyramid stage set is also starting at 8.15pm on the Pyramid stage, so there could be a mad dash over there for some of us, too. Lola Young and English Teacher (Friday)Lola Young and English Teacher singer Lily FontaineMercury Prize-winning guitar heroes English Teacher and pop’s most fabulously messy new superstar Lola Young both kick off at 4.30pm on The Park Stage and Woodsies, respectively. Both rising artists have had huge years and will no doubt be bringing the energy to Glastonbury, so choosing just one to catch is going to be especially tricky.Weezer and Jade (Saturday)Weezer singer Rivers Cuomo and JadeSome of us are eclectic, in our music tastes, OK?The angsty, awkward teenagers inside all of us are dying to let loose with the US rockers on Saturday afternoon at 3.30pm on the Other Stage, but then the It Girl is over at Woodsies at the same time, with just 15 minutes between their set start times. This one might have to be left to a coin flip.To make matters worse, indie darling and Boygenius member Lucy Dacus will also be kicking off at the Park Stage from 3.30pm.Charli XCX, Doechii and Scissor Sisters (Saturday)Charli XCX, Doechii and Scissor Sisters frontman Jake ShearsWe honestly need to have a word with organisers about this one. Brat summer isn’t over just yet, and Doechii’s imperial phase is just getting started. Charli XCX is going to be shutting down the Other stage from 10.30pm, while the rising rap superstar is going to be making her Glastonbury debut at the West Holts Stage, starting just 15 minutes earlier. To throw another spanner (or two) in the works, Neil Young and his backing band The Chrome Hearts will be on the Pyramid Stage from 10pm, while the newly-reunited Scissor Sisters will be closing out the night at the Woodsies Stage at 10.30pm.Olivia Rodrigo and The Prodigy (Sunday)Olivia Rodrigo and The Prodigy s MaximThe Prodigy is one of those acts many of us dream of experiencing in the pure hedonistic magic of an outdoor festival, but Olivia Rodrigo’s headline set on the Pyramid Stage is set to be something special, too.Unfortunately, the electronic dance music legends will be starting their performance on the Other Stage at exactly the same time as the US pop-rocker, from 9.45pm. If Olivia’s iconic onstage moment with Lily Allen in 2022 is anything to go by, we can definitely hope for more special guests during her headline performance. At the same time, The Prodigy have delivered three incredible Glasto sets over the years, though this year will also feel especially poignant, marking their first time returning to the festival since the death of frontman Keith Flint.Turnstile and Girl In Red (Sunday)Brendan Yates of Turnstile and Girl In RedIs there much overlap in the fans of America’s most exciting new hardcore band and Norway’s intoxicating indie pop daydreamer? We’re choosing to believe so. Turnstile’s rowdy live shows have already been cemented in live music lore as legendary, and with a new album on the horizon their 4.30pm set on the Other Stage will not be one to miss.At the very same time, Girl In Red’s set on The Park Stage might just turn out to be a low-key gem of Glasto 2025. Decisions, decisions…Beabadoobee and Japanese Breakfast (Saturday)Beabadoobee and Michelle Zauner of Japanese BreakfastBeabadoobee’s hazy pop-rock anthems always go down a treat on the British festival circuit, but Japanese Breakfast’s new album might mean that her trip down to the farm is an extra special set to catch. Both kick off at 2pm sharp on Saturday, with Beabadoobee on the Other Stage and Japanese Breakfast on The Park Stage.Loyle Carner and Four Tet (Saturday)Loyle Carner and Four TetIf Four Tet’s performances in recent years have been anything to go by, we can hope for the electronic star to have a special guest or two up his sleeve (Fred Again.. and Skrillex, anyone?). Meanwhile, Loyle Carner has a brand new album out just days before Glastonbury gets underway this year, so his set is sure to be a big moment, too.Festival goers seeking electronic escapism will be heading to Woodsies from 10.30pm, while Loyle Carner closes out the night on The Other Stage at the same time.If this one proves too difficult, Four Tet also has a midnight set at Arcadia the following night…Jorja Smith and The Maccabees (Sunday)Jorja Smith and The Maccabees guitarist Felix WhiteSome of us have waited eight years to see the Maccabees back on stage following their split in 2016. But the thought of missing Jorja Smith’s magic R B vocals as the sun goes down over Glastonbury is hurting our hearts a little bit.The indie rock band’s set at The Park Stage will be getting underway from 9.15pm, with Jorja starting 15 minutes later at 9.30pm on the Woodsies Stage.
