Nick Mohammed with a host of his Celebrity Traitors co-starsJust because the cast were all famous this time around doesn’t mean that the behind-the-scenes team of the Celebrity Traitors gave the contestants any special treatment. No, while filming the series last year, the cast were subjected to all of the same conditions as during the regular run, including the handing over of all devices, being isolated from one another when filming isn’t taking place and even not being allowed to know what time it is during production. And apparently it’s this last point that one member of the cast had an issue with.During a recent interview on the podcast The Comedian’s Comedian, finalist Nick Mohammed recalled: “When we were in the castle, you’d be like ‘What’s the time?’. And [the producers would] be like ‘It’s Traitors time!’. Every single member of production had to just answer with that.”Or, at least, they did at first.Nick Mohammed is one of five stars – and three Faithfuls – to have made it to the final of The Celebrity TraitorsNick continued: “[That went on] until someone kicked off and they said, ‘It’s a basic human right, you can just tell us the time, it doesn’t mean anything!’.”Elsewhere in the interview, the Ted Lasso star shared that he and the cast were allowed no contact with the outside world that might jeopardise the game, although he was permitted one phone call a day to speak to his three children.Similarly, former cast member Jonathan Ross revealed last week that he agreed to take part in the show as long as he was allowed one phone call a day with his wife, Jane Goldman.“We’ve never had a day when we didn’t speak to each other, because why would we? And we’re not away from each other very often, but if we are, we speak several times a day on the phone, so it was less than I would have liked,” the talk show host admitted. The Celebrity Traitors will come to an end on Thursday with a bumper-length finale, airing at 9pm on BBC One.Although a second season is yet to be confirmed, it’s already been widely rumoured to be in the pipeline, with certain celebrities having even been rumoured to be on the line-up.MORE TRAITORS:Here s Why This 1 Celebrity Traitors Star Turned Down The Offer To Join The WhatsApp Group ChatI Thought This Would Be Celebrity Traitors Biggest Flaw – But It s Actually Changed The GameJonathan Ross Clarifies Celebrity Traitors Comments After Claiming He Didn t Enjoy The Show
