Alan Carr has made it through to the final of The Celebrity TraitorsAlan Carr has a message for some of his critics after making it through to the final of The Celebrity Traitors.With just one episode left of the series, the stand-up comedian has pretty much managed to fly under the radar, without the cast working out that he and fellow “Traitor” Cat Burns have been quietly “murdering” members of the group since day one.Ahead of Thursday’s finale, Alan was asked about the reaction to his performance on Celebrity Traitors by the BBC, admitting: “I’ve been bathing in the love, it really has put a spring in my step, and I am loving the flow of memes that pop up on my feed.”He continued: “The public scrutiny and all the theories, some actually quite bizarre, have been really interesting to read, but I guess when you have such huge ratings this analysis of your every move comes with the territory.“Someone sent me a clip of a psychologist on a local radio station saying I wouldn’t do well on the show because I’m playing a role and I’m not the ‘real’ Alan Carr. That’s quite a statement considering I’ve never met this lady. It seems everyone has an opinion!”It s fair to say that Alan Carr hasn t always found it easy to fly under the radar on The Celebrity TraitorsLast week, Alan gave an interview with Heart while he was in Florida, where he joked that he’d headed there to “get away from it all”.“Everyone hates me, so I’ve had to come here,” he quipped, referring to himself as the most “hated man in Britain” due to his appearance on Celebrity Traitors.Looking ahead to the final, Alan told the BBC: “It feels amazing to be in the final, I think me and the entire nation didn’t believe I would get through the first roundtable, let alone be in the final five. “What a journey!!
