Meryl Streep is back as Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada 2A first-look teaser for the much-hyped The Devil Wears Prada sequel has offered fans a fresh look at Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway’s reunion.On Wednesday evening, a short snippet for one of 2026’s most-anticipated movies was shared online, paying homage to the original film as it shows Meryl’s iconic character making her way through the Runway office.Upon arriving at the lift, viewers are given a first proper glimpse of the Oscar winner back in character as Miranda Priestly – only for her to be joined by another familiar face.Clearly no longer intimidated by her former mentor, Anne’s character Andie then holds the door for herself, acknowledging the editor-in-chief with a simple: “Miranda.”“Took you long enough…” the ice queen then responds.See the 50-second teaser for yourself below:The whole teaser is soundtracked by the Madonna staple Vogue, which was also featured prominently in the first movie, as was another hit by the Queen of Pop, Jump, taken from her Confessions On A Dance Floor album.Meryl and Anne will be joined by their former co-stars Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci in The Devil Wears Prada 2, which reports have suggested will shine a light on the current state of the magazine industry.There’ll also be a host of new faces being added into the action, including Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, The Office’s BJ Novak and comedian Caleb Hearon, while Oscar winner Sir Kenneth Branagh will also be making an appearance as an integral new character.And that’s without even getting into the seemingly never-ending deluge of celebrities who appear to be making cameos in the new movie as themselves.While an exact release date for The Devil Wears Prada 2 is yet to be announced, the newly-released teaser has confirmed that it will be arriving in cinemas in May 2026.MORE FILM NEWS:Gird Your Loins!
