Sign up to the entertainment newsletter.Love Island winner Finley Tapp has admitted to having tiffs with producers on the show over one of the winter series most divisive tasks.During this year s run, Finn and his partner Paige Turley played one of the show s most infamous games, in which the Islanders have to guess the missing word from a headline written about them.In this case, the headline was Casa Amor causes Callum, Finn and Nas heads to turn on tonight s Love Island . Viewers took issue with the use of this headline, as it implied that Finn had cheated on Paige during his time in Casa Amor, which was not the case, with 377 even complaining to Ofcom at the time.In a new interview on The Reality Tea Podcast, Finn revealed that he wasn t impressed either, and even confronted producers on the show for trying to stir up trouble between him and Paige. If I m honest, I had a few little tiffs with the producers just because I was angry, he recalled. I wasn t happy they didn t really say too much. I was just like, You know what I was like in [Casa Amor]. Like how did you... And they were just like, Oh, well, obviously it s just like the headlines and da, da, da . But, yeah, it was a shame because that could have affected me and Paige, you know? But it didn t luckily and luckily Paige soon sort of found out. HuffPost UK has contacted a Love Island spokesperson for comment.Fortunately, the headline in question didn t come between Paige and Finn, who went on to be crowned the winners of the first ever winter series of Love Island. The pair are still going strong, and have been in quarantine together during the pandemic, with Finn racing to be with Paige in Scotland just hours before movement was restricted. They ve since moved in to their own flat in Manchester together. It was recently announced that this year s summer s series of Love Island would not be going ahead due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the planned winter series of 2021 had also been put on ice.MORE LOVE ISLAND: Fleabag, Game Of Thrones And Gavin Stacey Among Contenders For Bafta s TV Moment Of The Year As Another Love Island Couple Split, Here s Who Is Actually Still Together Siannise And Luke T May Not Have Won Love Island But They re Fast Becoming The King And Queen Of TikTok
