Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.Reform UK is the only party Brits are more likely to describe as pro-Russia rather than anti-Russia, according to a new poll.YouGov found 28% of respondents would say Reform is pro-Russia compared to 13% who say it is anti-Russia.A further 15% said the party was neither, and 42% said they did not know. For all other parties – the Tories, Labour, the Greens and the Liberal Democrats – more than a quarter of respondents said they believe them to be anti-Russia.Nigel Farage’s party has faced intense scrutiny recently after its former leader in Wales, Nathan Gill, was sentenced to 10 and a half years in prison. He pleaded guilty to accepting bribes from the Kremlin in exchange for spouting pro-Russia propaganda while he was an MEP.Reform UK has not been accused of any wrongdoing and Farage has distanced himself from Gill, although the pair were known associates and in Ukip together. However, Labour has called on the party to hold an independent investigation into any potential ties with Russia.Farage has so far refused, telling reporters “I haven’t got a police force” to launch such a probe. He said: “I’ve asked everybody [in the party]: have you ever taken money you shouldn’t have taken from anybody, and no one said yes.”He added: “I would point out to you that this is an embarrassment for Ukip, this is a very minor embarrassment for Reform.”Farage was the leader of Ukip on and off between 2006 and 2016.The escalating saga even led chancellor Rachel Reeves to compare Farage to a “Russian asset” while unveiling her Budget last week.YouGov also found 11% of respondents thought the Conservatives were pro-Russia, compared to 34% who believe they are anti-Russia.Ten percent of respondents said Labour are pro-Kremlin, compared to more than a third (39%) who think the governing party is actively anti-Kremlin.Meanwhile, 5% said the Greens are in favour of Vladimir Putin’s country while 29% said they were the opposite.Just 4% of Brits said the Liberal Democrats are pro-Russia, compared to 33% who said they are anti-Russia.Britons are more likely to see Reform UK as pro-Russia (28%) than anti-Russia (13%) - the only one of the main parties for which this is true, although many don #39;t know where parties stand
